SEASON WITH A REASON.
I wanted to make a card about seasons as a message, without having to color, photograph or draw. A small white sheet of paper that could make someone imagine and remember the pleasure that each season can give.
16 series of seasonal cards, text in black on white paper, 10x15 cm. 100g/m² each.
-
Invent a new whistle.
Squeeze with both hands, between finger and the thumb, the four corners of the folded sheet and blow it hard with tight lips on the gap between the two sheets of paper. Have a whistle this Spring.
-
The taste of summer.
Roll up the paper and place it in a glass. Fill it with fresh water until the level reaches the last line of text. Wait a few minutes in peace and then drink in one gulp. Have a refreshing Summer.
-
A roasted chestnuts scent.
Lightly heat the surface of the card with a flame (being careful not to burn it). Do you feel the scent of autumn now? Have a warm Autumn.
-
Paper snowball.
Crumple all these sheets into balls to play paper snowballs at home, on the sofa, on the bed. You decide. You could write us some messages or colour and then throw them up in the air. Have a fun Winter.
-
Something new. Something Fresh.
Open the window. Write messages and hang these papers on the windowsill. Let the words (and dreams) breathe the air like sheets hung out to dry. Have a fresh Spring.
-
Portable eclipse.
Rotate the card and place it at about 50 centimeters from your eyes. Cover your left eye in correspondence of the black circle e staring at him bringing the cardstock slowly towards you. At some point you should see the icon of the sun disappearing from your field of vision. Good eclipse, good Summer.
-
Autumn: what remains of the day.
Wait for the end of autumn and write on this leaflet the best "autumn day” you've ever had. After that, hide it between pages of a book and forget about it. Perhaps one day, this message will be found (perhaps by yourself) and an “autumn day” will be relived again. Have a nice Autumn.
-
Knock on the sky. Listen to its sound.
Wait for the deepest night. Build a cone using this sheet of paper. Bring it closer to your ear to amplify the sound. Now, in absolute silence, listen to winter. Have a silent Winter.
-
Today is spring!
Cut out the paper following the directions and stick the sentences in multiple places, so that everyone will notice Spring has started. Have loud spring.
-
summer dreams.
Cut the circle from the paper. Get a glass, pour some water and a few drops of dish soap. Mix everything, dip the sheet in soapy water, then take a light, transparent breath, full of summer dreams and blow it inside the circle. Who will have the biggest dream? Good summer.
-
An autumn at your fingertips.
Roll up and build a cone using this sheet. Throw in some warm roasted chestnuts and go out for a walk. Calmly savour the aroma of autumn. Have a tasteful Autumn.
-
smoking signals
Take the coldest day. Go for a nice walk in your favorite coat. When you feel that your breath is full of winter air, roll up the paper to its length and blow it hard into the tube. How many smoke signals can you communicate with this new season? Enjoy Winter.
-
Monument to the spring.
Inaugurate the new season by installing your portable sculpture on your table or desk. You can also customize it, inserting flowers in the slot. Have a monumental Spring.
-
Sing a song to the sun.
Sing a song helping you with the cardboard held in the palm of the hand and "pinching" the elastic with your finger. Who knows that summer will sing with you too. Have a sing a song Summer.
-
Autumn in great shape.
Place a leaf on a table with its back facing the top. Over the leaf lay the white sheet. Pass a pencil over the paper, until the "shape" of the leaf appears. How many shapes can you discover this fall? Have a discovery Autumn.
-
The big cold. in Paper.
Cut out the card with a zigzag shape. Stick imaginary stalactites and stalagmites on the windowsill. You can also use coloured the paper, so winter won't look so "cold". Have a colourful winter.
